Cricket lovers all over the country are getting excited about England\u2019s upcoming tour to Sri Lanka<\/a>. The big question is: will your love of the game drive you to cross continents? We caught up with two passionate fans who travelled to Sri Lanka for the cricket with Experience Travel Group to see what the experience is really like. What prompted you to book tickets to the tour?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Sandra: [My husband and I] both thought Sri Lanka sounded lovely and exotic, so initially just searched for a Sri Lanka holiday<\/a> when we stumbled across ETG. What made ETG stand out was the vast improvement in hotels compared to other sites. I asked Nick [ETG consultant] if there happened to be any cricket happening whilst we were out there. He told us that England were going to be touring, which was a dream come true \u2013 so Nick incorporated the Galle and Colombo tests into our itinerary![\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text][\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]What was the highlight of this trip?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Sandra: The general highlight of the trip was meeting like-minded people. I remember in Galle, we sat in the same area of the stadium every day with the same people, which meant that we were able to get to know them well.<\/p>\n

Do you have any advice for clients who are planning on going on the cricket tour this year?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Sandra: Ooh, that\u2019s a hard one. One thing I regret not doing is going out of the hotel more. There was so much to explore around our hotel, but we never did. Make the most of every moment as there is something special around every corner<\/p>\n

And finally, there are three tests in the upcoming series in Sri Lanka<\/a> \u2013 what are your score predictions?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Sandra: Gosh, you\u2019re putting me on the spot here!
