Building on our successful Burma evenings last year, we have moved to a bigger venue (and thanks to the fantastic Royal Overseas League for partnering with us on this).<\/p>\n<p>Sri Lankan Airlines have kindly agreed to fly over Herman Gunaratne to speak at our event &#8211; telling anecdotes from his most recent book &#8211; <a href=\"http:\/\/www.sundaytimes.lk\/120513\/Plus\/plus_05.html\">The Plantation Raj<\/a>. If that isn&#8217;t enough, we&#8217;ve also got Kandyan Dancers, live music, tea tasting by Tim d&#8217;Offray of Postcard Teas of Bond Street, a photographic exhibition of the work of Mark Forbes &#8211; one of our star guides in Sri Lanka and of course Sri Lankan nibbles and drink!<\/p>\n<p>Tickets are \u00a315 which includes a donation to Sarvodaya &#8211; a Sri Lankan charity and grassroots movement.
