After breakfast, set off on a morning tour of Almora. The heritage walk offers an immersive exploration of the city’s rich culture and history. Our guide will take you to Golu Devta Temple, the Almora Fort (currently the District Collector Office), the State Museum, and more. Depending on your interests, you can also visit the place where Swami Vivekananda stayed during his time here (an unusual but moving stop).
You’ll also have the chance to admire the town’s architecture, search for local crafts at the bustling bazaars, and explore a fantastic local NGO project. You’ll get a real feel for Almora and learn why the town has been so important to so many spiritual seekers and people of learning over the centuries.
